Hello readers, I wanted to bring you a special blog today. Most of you know that I am an avid listener of music and I have found some music to share with you today. This song stands out and inspires me because it takes you back in time thinking about your different memories or experiences in your life and how they affect you now and/or shape your personality. This song originated from his 1971 album named Imagine. This song has been ‘’remastered’’ or sung again many times by others. I wanted to share the original version of this song because of the lyrics and the message it contains.

This song makes me feel warm and cozy inside because it makes me feel like there’s someone who’s always there every time I listen to this song. It also makes me feel like I’m welcome in a new place where I have no idea how and what to do to fit into the new environment.

Pompeii By Bastille
This song inspires me because it is about a true event. The author said the song was a simulation or (acted version) of a conversation between the two survivors of the event. I wanted to bring this to you because it shows the two survivors trying to figure out what to do with their lives after the heartbreaking and destructive event.
Humble And Kind By Tim McGraw
I wanted to share this song with you because it brings out memories from when I was younger. It always reminds me of the times when I was little and just learning these things and some manners. In the song, Tim references grandpas with the lyric‘’ Visit Grandpa every chance you get.’’ This specific line brought back memories of when we would go see my Grandpa almost every weekend and help him with stuff around the house or just goof off and have fun.
Favorite Song By Toosii
I wanted to share this song because it sends a message that says ‘’I’m here for you even when you aren’t for me’’. To put this into context, there have been many times that I’ve been there for someone like my brother or even a partner in a relationship. This song shows that the artist is there for someone (not exactly sure who it is) but the other person is not there for them.
House Party By Sam Hunt
I chose this song because it brings out positive energy and because of the lyrics. This song makes me think of a teenage party one night while their parents are away or even a big high school graduation party with just the kids. The message is ‘’You don’t have to go out to have fun, you just need some people like your friends’’
Sweater Weather By Myles Smith (cover) and The Neighborhood (original artist)
This song is a cover of the original song written and produced by a band named ‘’the Neighborhood’’. I like both versions of this song because they sound great. The message to the audience in this song is ‘’Make the best out of the situation you are in’’
