The first experience you must try is the Polar Express train ride in Spencer, North Carolina. It run by North Carolina Transportation museum and makes for a great family event. It started on November 11, 2022 and it runs almost every weekend, all the way until December 23, 2022!
For all the music lovers, the Charlotte Symphony is doing various concert during the holiday season. One of these events is a Holiday Pops concert, which will play from December 16, 2022 to December 18, 2022. For all concerts, the Charlotte Symphony preforms at the Belk Theater in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Next on the list of excitement is North Carolina's Christmastown. This beautiful town has all the homeowners dress up their houses in lights and décor. This amazing experience is in McAdenville, North Carolina and it is a drive-thru you will never forget. Christmastown runs from 5:30 pm through 10:00 pm each night from December 1 through December 26.
For the thrill seekers, Carowinds, an amusement park in Charlotte, North Carolina, has a festival called Winterfest that lasts from November 21, 2022 all the way until January 9, 2023. This event includes parades in the park and many other experiences. This year they decided not to close all the rides for more fun all around.
Lastly, In Waxhaw, North Carolina is hosting a parade on December 11, 2022. It is a great, fun event that lets you get see all the life that supports Waxhaw. After the parade, you can grab a bite from any of the local restaurants!
