Springtime Family Traditions

As warmer weather approaches, there are a few things my family likes to do to prepare for the new seasons!

1) Get Daily Exercise!

For a few years now, my family and I try to get some exercise in every single day. That could be 20 minutes on the treadmill, 30 minutes walking outdoors, or a stroll at the local park. I have found getting those steps to be really useful in staying healthy!

2) Clear Out!

With spring break over and summer break approaching, this is the best time to wrap up on cleaning. You can check out this link (https://www.uclteens.com/post/spring-cleaning-for-the-new-season) of a previous blog post to help you get started!

My family and I like to finish up any last minute cleaning and donate our old toys, clothes, books, and more. We try to do this once every year to avoid clutter in our home.

3) Eat Healthier!

While this can be hard when you're craving ice cream on a hot summer day, it's also the best time to begin finding delicious, healthy foods. M y family lean towards those yummy summer fruits, like watermelon, pineapple, or mango, which are some of our favorites.

Those are just a few of my family's traditions that we have been trying to do every single year.

A question to consider: What are your family traditions and how have they changed over the years?

Do you have fun family traditions?
