At one point or another, we've all been there. Left with so much time and no idea what to do with it. Too tired to go outside, but you don't want to sit around either. Today, we will find 3 crafts that will get rid of our collective boredom and hopefully benefit our creativity while being easy and affordable!
Craft 1: Wind chimes
A popular craft shared online is making wind chimes. Not just your regular wind chimes, but instead made of everyday items.
You will need:
Glue
Wool
Decorations (stickers, glue-ons, etc.)
Scissors
A piece of paper
A plastic lid (should curve outwards like a smoothie lid and have a hole at the center).

First, design the lid however you want. Add any kind of stickers or decorations. Then color the piece of paper your desired color. Cut it into a circle, roughly the size of your pointer finger and thumb put together. Next, put a hole in the piece of paper (for the wool). It should be pretty small.
Then glue the paper onto the lid. Now, insert the wool into the hole. Make sure to knot it on the side that has an opening! Optionally, you can add a small piece of colored paper to the bottom.

Craft 2- Bracelets
As simple as it sounds, bracelets are a fun and affordable craft to do. It is one of my favorite pastimes. I recommend this kit (image below) because of its wide variety of beads.

Bracelets are easier to make than most crafts, but they take concentration and patience. What you need to make a bracelet are the following:
Scissors
thin thread
assortment of beads with holes in them
First, add something heavy on one end of your thread so the beads won't come off as you put them on the thread. Then, put the beads in however you want. If you want to put words on them, remember that you need to put the last letter first! To tie off your bracelet, grab the two ends together and twist them both around your index finger. Then push both strings inside the loop that was created. You should end up with a bracelet that looks like the following:

Craft 3: Painting tote bags
This craft has always stood out to me because I have decorated a tote bag and have since used it almost daily. While it is a simple craft, it is very useful in our everyday lives. You will need the following items:
Fabric Markers/Fabric Safe Paint
A tote bag
A pencil
First, take your tote bag and sketch out your desired design. Remember to sketch lightly so it is not visible through your paint or marker. Now, take your paint/marker and color in your design. Let it dry for a while. Add as many coats of color to get the vibrancy you want (preferably keep it under 3). You should be left with something similar (or maybe not) to the following image.

I hope everyone was able to complete one of the following activities and have a fun day!
