Welcome to TeenTober at UCL! This month-long celebration is specifically designed for you, the teens in our community. We are excited to offer a diverse array of activities, opportunities for feedback, and engaging ways to participate that could lead to fantastic prizes. Whether you're a book lover, a creative mind, or simply looking for something enjoyable to do, there’s something for everyone this October!
What is TeenTober?
TeenTober is a nationwide celebration that highlights the contributions of teens to libraries and their communities. At UCL, we use this opportunity to elevate teen voices and celebrate creativity. Throughout the month, we will host a variety of events and activities aimed at inspiring, engaging, and entertaining you. From book clubs to contests, you won't run out of ways to participate!
Activities to Look Forward To
We’ve got fun and engaging activities lined up all month long for TeenTober! Here’s a look at what you can join in on:
TeenTober Bingo: Pick up a bingo card and complete activities throughout October for the chance to win prizes.
Drop-In Crafts & Activities: Stop by your library on certain days during TeenTober to enjoy special craft projects and hands-on activities made just for teens.
Book Displays: Explore themed displays and discover your next great read with books hand-picked for TeenTober.
Feedback Opportunities
Your voice is important to us! Throughout TeenTober, we have the chance for you to share your thoughts. We want to hear what you love about the library and what improvements you’d like to see in the future.
Teen Feedback Survey: Share your voice! Fill out the survey to help shape future teen programs and spaces at the library. Plus, you’ll be entered into a raffle for cool prizes.
How to Get Involved
Getting involved in TeenTober is simple! Here’s how you can participate:
Check the Schedule: Visit our website or stop by the library to see the full schedule of events. Mark your calendars for activities that excite you!
Sign Up: Some events may require registration, so be sure to sign up in advance to secure your spot.
Spread the Word: Tell your friends about TeenTober! The more, the merrier. Encourage them to join in on the fun and excitement.
