Downtown Monroe is filled with so many good restaurants and places to eat. If you don't know where to go or where to start, here is a list!
Sorella Coffee
Sorella Coffee is a coffee shop located on Main Street in Downtown Monroe. This coffee shop opened in August of 2023 and has been a fan favorite ever since! They are known for their lattes, matcha, coffee, and sweet treats. They have a rotating seasonal menu with special touches like in-house syrups and unique toppings. Sorella is a great place to meet friends or study.
High Octane
This coffee shop has so many things to enjoy. They opened in early 2023, and now they are known for their Colombian Coffee. If you're looking for something more than coffee, they have ice cream, milkshakes, waffles, sandwiches, smoothies, and so many other yummy things. Look for the vintage gas station vibe and the dinosaur!
Main Street Bistro
Main Street Bistro is a restaurant that serves Italian and American food everyone loves. It's a nice sit down restaurant for lunch or dinner with family and friends. I suggest their burgers, quesadillas, and fried ravioli. They have very good reviews for their food, service, and location.
Oasis Sandwich Shop
This sandwich shop is located on Main Street and is cash only. It's a counter service restaurant that was established in 1933. They are known for their hot dogs and have been popular for years. They serve hot and cold sandwiches that are perfect for a fast, easy lunch.
JAMZ Pizza and Wings
JAMZ Pizza and Wings is a newly opened restaurant in Downtown Monroe. They opened in June, 2025, and are located on Main Street. They have sandwiches, wings, pizza, and delicious desserts. Since their opening, many people have recommended this restaurant, making it very popular.
Gingham Girl Cake Rolls and Creations
If you are looking for a place filled with sweet treats, Gingham Girl is the place to go! This bakery has cakes, cookies, and treats that everyone loves. In July 2025 they added their newest addition to their menu called Sips. You get to create your own dirty soda or lemonade by picking a base and adding any flavored syrup you would like. Sips has become very popular in Downtown Monroe, and I highly recommend everything Gingham Girl has on their menu!
All of these places are amazing and highly recommended by many.
