It's National Craft Month!

From paper crafting to crocheting and sewing, the ideas are endless! No matter how crafty you are, now's the time to hone your creativity and try something completely new! There are quite literally millions of crafts for you to do!

1. Paper Crafts

This is probably something you've been doing since you were young, even if you didn't realize it. Paper crafts are usually pretty simple, but you can always find a more difficult one as you practice and create more! Some quick paper crafts you can do are origami, a paper plate dragon, bookmarks, and more!

2. Bead Crafts

Whether you make friendship bracelets, necklaces, or other jewelry, there are so many different crafts to do that fall under this section of crafting! This category of crafts isn't just limited to jewelry making; you can also make things such as animals, charms, or suncatchers! Just put a little bit of time and a little effort, and soon you'll have your own unique creation!

3. Fabric Crafts

Usually a bit more complex, fabric crafts are always a good idea to try out. Quilting, embroidery, knitting, and weaving are some of the more popular activities, but there are much more available to do!

4. Paint Crafts

Paint crafts are very fun and are suitable to do at any age! Like any other craft, the options range in difficulty, making it possible for anyone to do them! One especially popular option is painting! As the name suggests, the most simple activity falling under this category of craft is simply painting on a canvas. You can do this at any age and any skill level! All you need is a brush, canvas, and, well, paint!

5. Wood Crafts

These kinds of crafts are usually more uncommon, mostly because people think they use up more time and materials and require a higher skill level. But, these can be done by anyone, you just have to find the craft right for you! Some of the easier crafts in this category include coasters, signs, trays, and jewelry boxes.

Happy Crafting!
