Book: This young adult psychological thriller is a bestseller and award winning book. The story is about a girl who loses some of her memories due to a brain injury. She knows something bad happened, but she can't remember how she ended up injured and what happened that summer. The story reveals what happened to Cadence and The Liars. This book is amazing and one of my favorites. Every chapter pulls you in and keeps you reading. This is a book that you will never want to put down!

Show: We Were Liars is an Amazon Prime Video series that is based on the book. This is an eight episode series that premiered June 2025. While the plot is the same, the show features other characters that were more side characters in the book. Another slight change is the timeline of the events that happen in the show are different from when they happen in the book. The show is well done and I enjoyed watching it on screen. The show brings the pages to life and it's one you'll want to binge.
