Have you ever read a book and wished that it would be turned into a movie? It is sooo disappointing, I know. So here are some great books that are also movies and maybe even a TV Show.
Percy Jackson is a great kids book by Rick Riordan that if you haven't read as a kid, is an absolute must read now. The author also released a great spin off version for teens, called Sun and the Star, starring a character introduced in the third Percy Jackson book. He even recently made the sequel to that book. So there are a lot of books by Rick Riordan that you can look forward to reading. There is also a TV show based upon the Percy Jackson books. The TV show is a great blend of the film elements and really sticks to the story. There is also a movie for the first two books, but in my opinion, it wasn't as good as the TV show. So, go read or watch Percy Jackson
The Maze Runner is a book by James Dashner. The gist of it is that a character is put in a maze and him and the rest of the characters have to find their way out, it's a lot more complicated, but it's really good. It is the first book in a trilogy, so there are two more, and it has a great movie adaptation. It had good actors and CGI, so I suggest you check them out today.
Shadow and Bone is a book by Leigh Bardugo. It was adapted into a TV show on Netflix. It has gained immense popularity and is seen all around the world. The book is a trilogy that also crosses over with another book called Six of Crows. This crossing over is seen in the TV show. While the book is told from a single viewpoint, the TV show has a lot of different perspectives.
So there you have it, some great books and movies or TV shows, plenty to binge. These are just a few, and there are a lot more, so I encourage you to check out the library and find something that fits for you!
